Mentat (Tablets & Syrup) is an ayurvedic proprietary medicine used for enhancing neurological functions, improving cognitive functions and increasing memory.

Mentat syrup is commonly given to children for improving memory and learning skills and treating bed-wetting. Mentat improves short-term memory as well as long-term memory. It also improves learning ability by enhancing attention span in children. Further, it is also beneficial for children with ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and other behavior problems.

Mentat exercises anti-depressant and anxiolytic action in the body. Regular use of Mentat helps to reduce hyper-excitation of neurons that commonly found in anxiety and stress disorders. Further, it reduces mental fatigue and over-work related mental stress.

Caution & Side Effects
Mentat syrup, Mentat DS syrup and Mentat tablets are LIKELY SAFE in most people within the recommended dosage. There is no adverse reaction observed with Mentat range.

Special Precaution
Mentat may increase general anesthesia influence on the body, so it should not be taken at least 2 weeks prior to the surgery. In epileptic patients, using Mentat may decrease the dosage requirement of other antiepileptic drugs, so therapeutic drug monitoring is recommended.
